CelluBOR Extra Fire Retardant is a quality thermal, sound and moisture insulation material known as cellulose wool. CelluBOR contains recycled gazette paper (more than 70% of content) and boron minerals. Cellulose wool obtained from newspapers is processed with boron based chemicals. As a result of these processes, CelluBOR Extra Fire Retardant can be applied spray, pouring and filling methods with/without adhesive. 



The chemicals contained in the CelluBOR Extra Fire Retardant are not toxic. It's not harmful to the skin. Thanks to the boron minerals, CelluBOR Extra Fire Retardant is anti-bacterial and it is pest and rodent free substance. CelluBOR Extra Fire Retardant does not contain ammonia based material, glass wool, rock wool and asbestos. The material is sprayed on all kinds of surfaces in open and closed areas, and the applied area is provided with monolithic thermal, sound  and moisture insulation.

CelluBOR Extra Fire Retardant product meets Class A according to the criterion of flame speed, smoke formation, possibility of dripping and volumetric loss when exposed to fire. However, the cellulosic organic matter content of CelluBOR does not meet the amount of energy required to achieve the desired calorific test result of 3 MJ or less. So the material is categorically assigned to class B, but gives all the desired responses from class A during a fire.

CelluBOR has the possibility of application on any surface at the desired thickness and density. Since the spraying method is monolithic, it prevents formation of any thermal and sound bridge. The  application efficiency is very high due to no leakage on the insulation surface.

It is a  good thermal insulation performance because of low thermal conductivity coefficient. CelluBOR thermal conductivity coefficient value is: 0.037 W / m.K. The value is not affected by density variation and temperature changes. The R value, expressed as resistance of components and insulation materials againts heat transfer, is an important criterion for selecting materials. The heat conductivity resistance  (R value) of CelluBOR is 1.35 m2 K / W at 50 mm thickness. It is temperature independent. 

CelluBOR absorbs sounds due to its flexible and soft structure. Its irregular and fiber textured structure (high surface weight and porous structure) prevents reverberation and tinnitus. When used with appropriate components and applied in appropriate thickness, the CelluBOR system has the ability to absorb sounds up to 70 dB of noise. Acoustically the sound absorbing feature is perfect. Its sound absorption coefficient is 1,0, which corresponds to class A. 

The density can range from 15 to 150 kg / m 3 . Standard application density is 50 kg / m3.

CelluBOR is completely environment friendly. The production of the material entirely from natural materials ensures that the performance of the product remains constant throughout its lifetime.

There is no volumetric loss and no deterioration in the values ​​of thermal, sound and fire insulation. It is completely natural, it does not contain a carcinogenic chemical compound. It does not deteriorate with time, does not rot, does not corrode and rust. It can not be destroyed by insects and micro organisms. It does not cause choking or mold due to its breathable structure.

  • CelluBOR Extra Fire Retardant must be protected against water contact directly and continuously after the insulation material is applied. 

  • The application areas should be cleaned beforehand.

  • The spraying method should not be applied at temperatures below the freezing point.

  • It is recommended to treat exposed surfaces with CelluBOR Surface Hardener, If the insulation surface will remain in open areas

  • The CelluBOR Surface Hardener can also be used to color the exposed surfaces.
