CelluBOR Thermal and Sound Insulation

CelluBOR products are made from cellulose, which a natural insulation material with has thermal, sound and moisture insulation attribute and has fire retardant properties. CelluBOR produced from recycled waste paper which contributes greatly to human and environment health through its and breathable structure, has been widely used since 1960s in developed countries like United States and Europe.

CelluBOR does not allow forming thermal and sound bridge by covering the insulation surface owing to its monolithic insulation cover. It is known that for the plate applications (especially low density plates), the plate insulation material is faced with serious problems such as slumping, loosening and opening. Openings occurring at the joints of plate applications affects the efficieny of application when compared with the technical datas of the plate material's catalog and field applications, it is seen that the efficiency is decreased significantly. Thanks to CelluBOR Spray monolithic application method; none of these negatives occur and it maintains the technical efficiency values throughout the life of the structure.

High efficiency results are obtained due to low heat conduction coefficient (0.037 W/m.K) in thermal insulation by using CelluBOR. CelluBOR has also high heat capacity value, resulting from this feature provides high efficiency in thermal insulation. Heat capacity value of CelluBOR (1946 J / kg.K) plays an important role in maintaining the conditioned environment for a longer period of time. The result obtained with low heat conduction coefficient and high heat capacity provides lower energy consumption and longer preservation of the desired ambient temperature.

The weighted sound absorption coefficient of CelluBOR, which is in Class A category in sound insulation, is 1.0 and it has a soundproofing characteristic up to 70 dB at certain frequencies. Its irregular and fiber texture prevents echoes and ringing. It cuts noise pollution up to 90% and creates a peaceful and comfortable environment.

It provides the necessary fire protection (duration, amount of smoke, dripping etc.) for the building with the fire retardant boron additives it contains. CelluBOR is an organic insulation material that the flame does not develop and smoke does not form.

CelluBOR is anti-bacterial as it does not contain any carcinogenic and harmful substances to human health. It does not contain pests because of its boron components. It is not damaged by moisture and its life is equivalent to the life of the building.

It prevents condensation due to its breathable structure and prevents the deterioration of its constituent components.
