What is CelluBOR?

CelluBOR on Exteriors
CelluBOR thermal insulation and sound insulation between exterior wall cladding or wall
CelluBOR is a natural insulating material based on recycled cellulose, which is thermal and sound insulating and has fire retardant properties.
Thermal insulation
The value of thermal conductivity λ is 0.038 W / m.K. CelluBOR achieves highly efficient thermal insulation by maintaining the temperature of the conditioned environment longer due to its high heat storage capacity in addition to its low heat transfer coefficient. The λ-value of CelluBOR is not affected by density and changes in outdoor temperature. The R-value, expressed as the resistance of components and insulating materials to heat transfer, is an important criterion for the selection of materials. The thermal resistance of CelluBOR is 1.32 m 2 K / W at 50 mm thickness. The R-value is fixed at low and high temperatures. The advantage of the application method by spraying is that all surfaces are covered as a monolithic insulation layer. Thanks to the monolithic insulation cover, the highest efficiency results are achieved without thermal bridges.

Soundproofing
CelluBOR absorbs sound waves thanks to its flexible and soft structure. Its irregular and fibrous structure (high surface weight and porous structure) prevent reverberation and echo. In combination with the appropriate components and applied in an appropriate thickness, the CelluBOR system can absorb sound up to 70 dB. Acoustically, the sound absorbing property is perfect. Its sound absorption coefficient is 1.0, which corresponds to class A.
Endurance in moisture
CelluBOR has high water vapor permeability, it does not trap moisture in its structure. Since the water vapor diffusion resistance of CelluBOR (μ = 1) is the same as that of air, the internal moisture of CelluBOR is released by inhalation depending on the relative humidity of the environment. It therefore does not rot, crack or mildew.

Fire Retardant
The fire-retardant components in CelluBOR provide the necessary fire protection (duration, amount of smoke, no dripping and no pre-fire, etc.) for the building. They provide the ability to escape from the dangerous environment and the time necessary to intervene in unintended situations such as a fire disaster.
Health advantages
CelluBOR does not contain any substances harmful to human health or carcinogenic. Its physical structure allows buildings to breathe. Cellulose insulation prevents mold, damp and rust. It takes care of the health of buildings and people who live in them. Thanks to its high efficiency in thermal insulation, it ensures a reduction in greenhouse gasses as less energy is consumed in the areas used by CelluBOR, promoting a healthy environment. It is environmentally friendly as it uses at least 80% recycled waste paper in its manufacture. It also does not allow fungi and insects to grow and is antibacterial. It does not contain formaldehyde and phenol. It does not cause allergic effects on the eye. There is no itching or discomfort in case of short or long-term skin contact. No damage is observed when CelluBOR is inhaled. There is no odor during the application.

Advantages for the environment
More than 80% of the content of CelluBOR, also known as cellulose wool, is made from recycled waste paper. The conversion of unused waste paper into a qualified thermal and acoustic insulation material makes a significant contribution to the environment and the economy in our plant. The production of CelluBOR uses 20 times less energy than the production of mineral wool.
Production Line
Cellu-Swiss company and its sister company Cag Engineering, which started its operations in 1999, have since been producing CelluBOR, the first and only cellulose-based insulation material in Turkey, the Middle East and Switzerland simultaneously, as well as CelluMAK, with which CelluBOR can be applied to various surfaces, since 2005. Our company manufactures its products according to ISO 9001: 2015, CE (ETA 05/0226), ACERMI (No: 12/D/154/776) and other EUROPEAN NORM quality standards. Moreover, our factory was awarded the best investment prize in 2006. In addition to our factory laboratories, our products are also tested regularly at universities and accredited laboratories.

Applications
CelluBOR is a cellulose-based, enriched thermal, sound and fire insulation material. CelluMAK is a machine that enables the spraying of CelluBOR insulation material. Thanks to the CelluMAK spray function, CelluBOR can be applied to any surface by spraying, pouring, blowing and filling. CelluBOR can be applied to any surface to the desired thickness and density. One of the biggest advantages of spray application is that it prevents the formation of thermal and acoustic bridges. The working speed when applying CelluBOR with CelluMAK is also very advantageous. In a single shift, a team (2 people) can easily apply an area of 100 to 400 m2 depending on the application. CelluMAK machines are manufactured by CELUUSWISS and its sister Cag Engineering Company according to CE.
Performance
CelluBOR is made exclusively from natural materials, so the performance of the product remains constant throughout its lifetime. There is no loss of volume and no deterioration in thermal, sound and fire insulation values over time. There are no thermal or sound bridges as the surface is monolithically insulated. This advantage alone improves the efficiency of CelluBOR applications by 15-20% when compared to board insulation materials. It is well-known that mineral wool used at low density loses its shape over time (collapse, loosening, open joints). CelluBOR, thanks to the spraying process, has the same lifetime as the structure. For this reason, the performance values do not change over the years.

Indications for use
Since its manufacture, CelluBOR has been used in countless national and international projects, mainly in hotels, conference halls, steel structures, residential buildings, offices and hangar structures. In particular, CelluBOR is the most important part of the technical infrastructure of partition walls (drywall systems) used in hotel, residential and office projects. Drywall systems are a quick and practical solution for modern buildings. The systems require insulation materials with high quality thermal and sound insulation as well as fire retardant properties. CelluBOR has delivered thermal and acoustic insulation solutions that have been used on millions of square meters within plasterboard. Buildings can be insulated with CelluBOR by spraying it from the outside under cladding, aluminum etc. The interior surfaces of the structures are sprayed and filled under the covering. CelluBOR can be used as a casting mold in the roofs of buildings. Can be filled between two tiles. CelluBOR is preferred for use on metal roofs, facades, and in cold storage and agricultural buildings. Sound insulation is needed in temple, concert halls, assembly rooms, schools, factories, workshops and other public spaces, as well as in recording studios.
Efficiency
When CelluBOR is preferred in projects, thermal, sound, and moisture insulation, as well as fire retardant and antibacterial properties, are only achieved by using CelluBOR. With energy costs rising every day, CelluBOR minimizes energy consumption and thus contributes to the national economy. By recycling the paper waste that makes up the rest of the material, it also contributes to the economy and the environment by producing a qualified insulating material.
