CelluBor SW is a recycled cellulose-based natural isolation material that has thermal and sound insulation with fire-retardant properties.

Thermal Insulation

The thermal conductivity λ value is 0.037 W / m.K CelluBOR achieves high-efficiency thermal insulation by keeping the temperature of the conditioned environment longer by its high heat storage capacity besides its low heat transfer coefficient. The λ value of CelluBOR is not affected by density and external temperature changes. The R value, which is expressed as the resistance of the components and the insulation materials against the heat transfer, is an important criterion for selecting materials. CelluBOR's thermal conductivity resistance is 1.35 m 2 K / W at 50 mm thickness. The R value is fixed at low and high temperatures. The advantage of the application method which is spraying is that it covers all of the surfaces as a monoblock insulation cover. Thanks to the monolithic insulation cover, the highest efficiency results are obtained without heat bridges.

Sound Insulation

CelluBOR absorbs the sound waves thanks to its flexible and soft structure. Irregular and fibrous textured structure (high surface weight and porous structure) prevents reverberation and ringing. When used with the appropriate components and applied in appropriate thickness, the CelluBOR system has the ability to absorb sounds up to 70 dB of noise. Acoustically the sound absorbing feature is perfect. Its sound absorption coefficient is 1.0 ; which corresponds to class A.



Moisture Endurance

CelluBOR has high vapor permeability, it does not contain moisture in its structure. Because CelluBOR water vapor diffusion resistance (μ = 1) is the same as air, the internal humidity of CelluBOR is released by inhalation depending on the relative humidity of the environment. So it does not rot, break and mold.

More than 80% of the content of CelluBOR, also known as cellulose wool, is composed of recycled waste paper. In our facility, the conversion of unused waste paper into a qualified thermal and sound insulation material provides a significant contribution to the environment and the economy. In terms of the energy consumed during the production of CelluBOR, it is produced by consuming 20 times less energy than a mineral wool.

Cag Engineering, which started its activities in 1999, has started mass production of CelluBOR, the first and only cellulose based boron-added insulating material of Turkey and Middle East since 2005, and CelluMAK which applies CelluBOR on various surfaces. Our company manufactures its products in accordance to ISO 9001: 2008 and TSE quality standards. In addition, our factory was awarded as the best investment award in 2006. In addition to our factory laboratories, our products are also tested at TSE, TUBITAK, Universities and Accredited laboratories regularly.

CelluBOR Application


CelluBOR is a cellulose-based boron-added thermal, sound and fire insulation material. CelluMAK is a machine that allows spraying of insulating material CelluBOR. Thanks to the CelluMAK spraying feature, CelluBOR application material can be applied to any surface by glue spraying, pouring, blowing and filling. CelluBOR has the possibility to be applied on every surface in the desired thickness and density. One of the biggest advantages of spray application is that it prevents the formation of thermal and sound bridges. The operating speed of CelluBOR application with CelluMAK is also very advantageous. For single shift; application area can be easily made by one team (2 people) from 100 to 400 m depending on application. CelluMAK machines are produced by Cag Engineering according to CE Standards.




CelluBOR is produced entirely of natural materials, allowing the performance of the product to remain constant over its lifetime. There is no volumetric loss, and there is no deterioration in terms of thermal, sound and fire insulation values ​​over time. It does not contain thermal and sound bridges, as a result of covering the surface monolithic insulation cover. If it is compared with plate insulation materials, only this advantage improves the efficiency of CelluBOR applications by 15-20%. As known, mineral wools used at low densities are subject to loss of shape over time (collapse, loosening, opening joints). CelluBOR has the same amount of lifespan as the structure life thanks to the spraying method. For this reason, there is no change in performance values ​​over the years.

Usage Areas

Since its production, CelluBOR has been applied widely in countless national and international projects, mainly hotels, conference halls, steel structures, residences, offices and hangar structures. Especially, CelluBOR is the most important part of technical infrastructure of the partition walls (drywall systems) designed in hotel, residence and office projects. Drywall systems are quick and practical solution for contemporary buildings and the systems need insulation materials having high quality thermal and sound insulation and also fire retarding properties. CelluBOR has provided thermal and sound insulation solutions being used inside the gypsum boards in millions of square meters up to now. Constructions can be insulated with CelluBOR by external spraying under siding, aluminum etc. The inner surfaces of the structures are sprayed and filled under the cover. CelluBOR can be applied as pouring form in the construction roofs. Can be filled between two bricks. CelluBOR is prefered on metal roofs, facades and in cold storages and farms. Sound insulation is required in mosques, concert halls, meeting rooms, schools, factories, workshops and other public spaces, as well recording studios. 




When CelluBOR is preferred in projects, thermal, sound and moisture insulation as well as fire retardancy and antibacterial properties are gained with application only CelluBOR.
